Public Hearing on the 2024 Service Plan

The purpose of this hearing is to receive public comment on Sound Transit’s 2024 Service Plan. 

Each year, Sound Transit's Service Planning Department prepares a Service Plan to guide the delivery of ST Express Bus, Sounder commuter rail, and Link light rail services. The Service Plan describes service and revisions proposed for the upcoming budget year. Phase 1 of the plan, which is the focus of the public hearing, describes the Major Rail Service changes for 2024. Phase 2 of the Service Plan will be presented in early 2024 and will have a separate public hearing. How to provide comments at the public hearing

Comments can be given either in person at Union Station, located at 401 South Jackson Street, or virtually through WebEx.

If you wish to comment in person, you must sign-up ahead of time on a sign-up sheet outside of the Board room.

If you wish to comment virtually, you will need to sign-up ahead of time through the Board’s comment form linked below

The sign-up window will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:55 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023. Sign up requires your name and email address. Commenters will be called on by name in the order they signed up.

Attending the public hearing in person

The public hearing will be open to the public in the Ruth Fisher Board Room in Union Station located at 401 S Jackson Street. Doors will be unlocked 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

The video and audio connections will be available during the hearing, scheduled from 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. on October 26, 2023. The meeting will be recorded and posted to the SoundTransit.org website 24-48 hours after the meeting.
