Sound Transit will suspend 1 Line service until 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 28, between Westlake and SODO stations. This closure is necessary to accommodate routine WSDOT inspections of I-90 overpasses near SODO station.
Scheduled service will resume at the conclusion of inspections, with additional trains standing by to assist with crowds headed to Seattle Pride weekend festivities.
During the disruption, trains will operate every 12 minutes between Lynnwood City Center and Westlake, and between Angle Lake and SODO.
1 Line shuttle buses will operate between Westlake and SODO every 10-15 minutes, making all intermediate stops.
Passengers traveling southbound through downtown Seattle will need to exit trains at Westlake Station and board shuttle buses serving Symphony, Pioneer Square, International District/Chinatown, Stadium and SODO stations. Southbound passengers can then re-board Link at SODO Station to continue south.
Northbound passengers will likewise board shuttle buses at SODO Station and can reconnect to Link at Westlake for the remainder of their journey.
Staff ambassadors will be available to assist passengers at some stations.
A language line is available to provide translation assistance for passengers with limited proficiency in English at 800-823-9230.
