Barrier setting and traffic shift on S 272nd St

Sound Transit's contractor will place barriers along South 272nd Street for utility work related to Link light rail construction. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions throughout the work area.
When
As early as Aug. 6th for approximately four weeks.
Where
Along South 272nd Street between Interstate 5 and South Star Lake Road. (see map)

- Majority of work will occur from 7 a.m.- 4 p.m., Mon-Fri, and is weather dependent.
- One lane in either direction will be maintained.
- Excavator and other heavy equipment will be used.
- A safe and secure work site.
