Construction along east wall of Dwell

Publish Date
Body

For one weeknight between Tuesday, May 20 and Friday May 30, the contractor working to build Sound Transit's Northgate Link extension may need to work past 10 p.m. The work is likely to happen Tuesday night, May 20 or Wednesday night, May 21 but the schedule may slip.

Crews are installing the corner of the future underground Roosevelt Station wall. Because this section requires more concrete than most wall sections and because concrete pours cannot be stopped once begun, the work may go later than usual.   The contractor has received a nighttime noise variance for this work. Please call the construction hotline number listed below with concerns.

Northgate Link Extension is a key part of the Sound Transit's regional mass transit system approved by voters in 2008. The 4.3-mile light rail extension includes stations in the University District, Roosevelt, and Northgate neighborhoods.
