Night-time closure of portion of NE 103rd Street and 1st Ave NE

Starting Monday night, Aug. 26th, NE 103rd Street between 1st Ave NE to west of 3rd Ave NE and a portion of 1st Ave NE will be closed while Sound Transit's contractor performs utility work in the roadway and at the station above NE 103rd Street.
What
Closure on portion of NE 103rd Street and 1st Ave NE between NE 100th and NE 107th Street. 1st Ave NE work will be performed in two phases.
When and Where
Monday night, 8/26, to Wednesday morning, 8/28, 10 p.m. – 4 a.m.

- 1st Ave NE from NE 103rd to NE 107th Streets.
- Drivers exiting I-5 must proceed east or northbound onto 1st Ave NE.
- I-5 express lanes will remain open.
Wednesday night, 8/28 to Saturday morning, 8/31, 10 p.m. – 4 a.m.
- Road closed: (see map)
- 1st Ave NE from NE 100th to NE 103rd Streets.
- 1st Ave NE and NE 100th St intersection will remain open. Drivers must proceed southbound onto 1st Ave NE from NE 100th Street.
Monday night, 8/26, to Saturday morning, 8/31, 9:00 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.

- NE 103rd Street from 1st Ave NE to west of Northgate Transit Center.

- Access to Northgate Mall and Northgate Transit Center will be maintained.
- Access to Northgate Station Garage will be maintained. Drivers must enter and exit garage via 3rd Ave NE.
- A Temporary Noise Variance (TNV) has been issued for this work.

Please proceed cautiously and follow the directions of the flaggers. Construction equipment includes forklifts, man lifts, and light plants.
