Reduce lane closures on Northeast 185th overcrossing bridge

Beginning Thursday, April 16, Sound Transit will close lanes on NE 185th overcrossing for Seattle City Light to install steel poles. This work is deemed essential for the Lynnwood Light Rail project. 

What

  • There will be a westbound lane closure on NE 185th overcrossing to 8th Avenue.
  • There will be an eastbound lane closure from 7th Ave to NE 185th overcrossing.
  • Work will feature a vacuum truck that will cause noise.
  • Drivers should expect traffic delays due to lane closures. 
  • Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. 

When

  • Thursday, April 16th and work will last for approximately three days. 
  • Work hours will be from 9AM to 3PM

Where

  • NE 185th Street overcrossing bridge near Shoreline Stadium 
  • Westbound lane will be closed from NE 185th overcrossing to 8th Ave. 
  • Eastbound lane will be closed from 7th Ave to NE 185th overcrossing.
