Sound Transit work in NE Ravenna Blvd at 12th Avenue NE

Within the next month, Sound Transit's contractor will install settlement monitoring equipment in NE Ravenna Boulevard median between 12th Avenue NE and Brooklyn Ave NE in advance of the Northgate Link Extension tunnel construction.

Installation of the monitors requires drilling, removing ground material with a vacuum truck and inserting equipment. There will be no parking restrictions as the work will occur in the center median. The contractor will work between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays. A vacuum truck makes a noise similar to a diesel engine running at high rpm's. This work may take up to two weeks to complete.
