Weekend HOV/direct access ramp closure and parking changes at Lynnwood Transit Center

Beginning 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, the HOV/Direct Access ramp from Interstate 5 to the Lynnwood Transit Center will be closed to perform underground utility work. This closure is a necessary step in preparations for construction of the Lynnwood City Center Link Light Rail Station. This closure will be in effect until 4 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18.

The transit center will still be accessible from 48th Ave W, off 200th St SW. Commuters and buses will take alternate routes to reach the transit center and travel times may be increased by approximately 10 minutes. 

Please plan ahead and leave plenty of time to reach your destination. Additionally, the former temporary parking lot at Lynnwood Transit Center will be fenced off to begin construction in that area. Early stages of fencing will be in place as early as Nov. 8.

Work hours: 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15 to 4 a.m., Monday, Nov. 18.
