Weigh in on our new Kent/Des Moines designs

Publish Date

We're making significant progress on designs for our Kent/Des Moines station area and parking garage, and we're excited to share them and get your feedback!

In 2017, we asked the public how they wanted our new Link light rail stations from Angle Lake to Federal Way to look and feel. Participants said they preferred designs that represent the community, are modern, and reflect Northwest character and the natural Puget Sound environment. We've been using this input throughout project development.

We want to hear your thoughts on the progress we've made. Click the survey below to learn more about our proposed design of the station, parking garage and surrounding area, and let us know what you think! This survey is available in English, Spanish, Russian, Vietnamese, Somali and Korean and closes on March 16.

Curious about station-area designs for S. 272nd Street or Federal Way Transit Center? We'll be seeking input on those stations in the coming months, so stay tuned!

Expanding your transit choices

By 2024, we'll open more than 20 new Link stations, launching service to Northgate, Bellevue, Lynnwood, Federal Way, Redmond and the Hilltop neighborhood in Tacoma. We'll also introduce Stride bus rapid transit on I-405, SR 518, SR 522 and NE 145th and open new parking and access improvements at Sounder stations. While we build these projects, we're also advancing plans to expand Sounder South capacity and bring more light rail to Tacoma, Everett, West Seattle, Ballard, South Kirkland and Issaquah.
