The Transit Development Plan (TDP) is an annual report that provides updated information to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) on transit service delivered and future planning efforts of Sound Transit- The Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority. The report reflects on the previous year in service, captures agency planning milestones, and provides background on Sound Transit and the agency’s strategic initiatives. The TDP is submitted per requirement of RCW 35.58.2795. As a regional transit authority, Sound Transit is required to prepare a six-year transit development plan and annual report. WSDOT may use this document to prepare an annual report for the Washington State Legislature summarizing the status of public transportation systems in the state.
