2013 in review

It's been a big year and we want to thank you for your participation in the progress of East Link! We reached a couple of major milestones in 2013 as the project team welcomed the community to the final design process where Sound Transit advances design work from approximately 30 percent to 100 percent completion, preparing the project for construction. Final design meetings were hosted in Seattle, Mercer Island, South Bellevue, Downtown Bellevue, Bel-Red and Overlake. 

Our field teams had a busy year gathering information across the alignment. We completed a great deal of soil sampling, civil survey, wetland delineation, potholing and tree survey work crucial to advancing the project's design.
