236th Street Southwest night closure

Thursday, May 20, Sound Transit's contractor will work at night at 236th Street Southwest and the northbound Interstate 5 off-ramp. Detours will be provided (see map). The contractor has obtained a Temporary Noise Variance to complete this work.

Moderate construction and engine noise at night to work on the elevated trackway.
When
Work will occur overnight Thursday, May 20. Nighttime closures and detours will be in effect from 11 p.m. – 5 a.m.
Where
- 236th Street Southwest – eastbound closed; I-5 northbound off-ramp to 236th Street Southwest – ramp closed (see map).
- 236th Street Southwest – westbound closed; vehicles must turn left on 56th Avenue West, right onto 244th Street West and continue on to I-5.
