Night closure at 1st Ave NE and Northgate Way Intersection

As early as Wednesday, June 9th, Sound Transit will close 1st Ave NE and Northgate Way intersection. The night time closure will be utilized for overhead line work for the light rail construction.
What
- The Northgate Way on-ramp to Northbound I-5 will also be closed.
- Suggested detour route is located on 1st Avenue NE (see map).
- Work consists of heavy equipment and residents can expect noise from construction.
- Full closures will occur during work hours and re-open during non-work hours.
When
- Wednesday night, June 9th to Thursday night, June 10th.
- Night construction work hours are from 11:00PM to 5:00AM.
Where
- 1st Ave and Northgate Way intersection.
- Northgate Way on-ramp to NB I-5
- Access will be maintained for local residents.
