Night closures at 1st Ave NE between Northgate Way and NE 103rd Street and NE 107th ramp closures

As early as Wednesday, September 2nd, Sound Transit will be closing lanes on 1st Ave between Northgate Way and NE 103rd Street. In addition, both NE 107th on-ramp and off-ramp will be closed. The full night time closure will be utilized for girder work. This closure will take place between the work hours of 11:00PM to 5:00AM.
What
- Full closure of 1st Ave NE between Northgate way and NE 103rd Street.
- Northbound I-5 off-ramp at NE 107th Street will be closed.
- Northbound I-5 on-ramp at NE 107th Street will be closed
- Detour routes will be in place. Please follow the detour signage.
- Roads will be closed for crews to work on girders for the link light rail construction.
- Local traffic and pedestrian access will be maintained with the assistance of flaggers.
- Work consists of heavy equipment and cranes to set the girder.
- Full closures will occur during work hours and re-open during non-work hours.
When
- Wednesday, September 2nd to Thursday night, September 3rd between the hours of 11:00PM and 5:00AM.
- Roads will remain open outside of work hours.
