Night closures at 1st Ave NE and Northgate Way Intersection

As early as Monday, September 28th, Sound Transit will be closing 1st Ave NE and Northgate Way intersection. The night time closure will be utilized for deck work for the light rail construction. This closure will take place between the work hours of 11:00PM to 5:00AM.
What
- Roads will be closed for crews to complete deck work for the light rail construction.
- Northgate Way on-ramp to Northbound I-5 will be closed
- Suggested detour route is located on 1st Avenue NE (see map).
- Work consists of heavy equipment and residents can expect noise from construction.
- Full closures will occur during work hours and re-open during non-work hours.
When
- Monday night, September28th to Thursday night, October 1st.
- Night construction work hours are from 11:00PM to 5:00AM.
- Roads will remain open outside of work hours.
Where
- 1st Ave and Northgate Way intersection.
- Northgate Way on-ramp to Northbound I-5
- Access will be maintained for local residents.
