Night closures on I-405 in downtown Bellevue beginning on Tuesday, April 9th

Overnight drivers should be aware of upcoming closures on I-405 in downtown Bellevue. Starting on Tuesday, April 9th, Sound Transit's contractor will be concrete pouring on the elevated light rail structures, in preparation for East Link/Blue Line light rail in Bellevue. Work is scheduled for April 9th – 11th. This work is weather dependent and may be rescheduled.

I-405 between Northeast 10th Street to Main Street 

Tuesday, April 9th

• The Northeast 4th Street (Exit 13A) off-ramp via southbound I-405 (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.) will be closed.
• The Northeast 8th Street on-ramps to southbound I-405 (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.) will also be closed.

Wednesday, April 10th 

• Crews will close the southbound I-405 HOV lane and one left lane (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.) from Northeast 10th Street to Main Street.
• The northbound I-405 off-ramp and the southbound on-ramp to and from Northeast 6th Street (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) will be closed while work is occurring.
• The eastbound Northeast 8th Street on-ramp to southbound I-405 (10 p.m. to 5 a.m.) will also be closed.

Thursday, April 11th 

• The northbound I-405 HOV lane and one left lane (10 p.m. – 5 a.m.) from Northeast 10th Street to Main Street will be closed.
• The northbound I-405 off-ramp and the southbound on-ramp to and from Northeast 6th Street (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.) will be closed while work is occurring.
