Nighttime road closures: 1st Avenue Northeast between Northgate Way and Northeast 103rd Street

As part of the Lynnwood Link Extension Project, contractors will work at night to set-up traffic barriers on 1st Avenue Northeast between Northgate Way and Northeast 103rd Street. The work is scheduled for March 1st through March 3rd. Crews are working at night to minimize traffic impacts and community disruption.

What

There will be two phases of work:

Phase 1
  • Contractors will mobilize heavy equipment into the work zone.
  • Full closure of 1st Avenue Northeast between Northgate way and Northeast 103rd Street.
  • Northbound I-5 off-ramp at Northeast 105th Street will be closed.
  • Northbound I-5 on-ramp at Northeast 107th Street will be closed.
  • Detour routes will be in place. Please follow the detour signage.

Phase 2

  • Northbound I-5 on-ramp at Northeast 107th Street will be closed.

Phase two

When

  • Phase 1 of the work is scheduled March 1st to March 2nd from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night.
  • Phase 2 of the work is scheduled for the night of March 3rd from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Where

  • Road closures on 1st Avenue between Northgate Way and Northeast 103rd Street.
