Lynnwood Link Extension Mountlake Terrace Station

Nighttime work along I-5 Northbound and Southbound shoulder

As early as Wednesday, September 16, Sound Transit’s contractor will continue working along the Interstate 5 in the vicinity of 228th and 236th Street SW and will perform work on both the northbound, and southbound shoulders as well as in the center of I-5 at the bus Freeway station.  This is to prepare for the Lynnwood Link Light Rail extension and will be in effect for two weeks. The contractor has obtained a Temporary Noise Variance to complete this work.

Wednesday, September 16 – Tuesday, September 29, 8:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m. Monday – Friday.

Where

I-5 northbound and southbound shoulders and center of I-5. Between 228th St SW and 236th Place SW (see map). This work is close to the Mountlake Terrace freeway station.
