Parking lot shifts at Lynnwood Transit Center coming as early as Jan. 3

Publish Date

As early as Jan. 3, 2020, parking lot shifts at Lynnwood Transit Center will go into effect. Sections of parking will be closed for construction of the Lynnwood City Center light rail station – in this phase, 178 spaces will be closed, while 183 spaces will be opened. This change will last approximately 12 to 14 months.

Phased changes to parking at Lynnwood Transit Center will continue until the new parking garage opens (scheduled for 2022).

Thank you for your patience as we work to bring high-capacity light rail service to Snohomish County, providing a link from Lynnwood to the University of Washington in 20, traffic-free minutes.

What

Customers parking at the Lynnwood Transit Center Park and Ride should expect to see parking spaces closed and a new temporary lot opened as early as Jan. 3.

When

Beginning as early as Jan. 3 and lasting 12 to 14 months. Due to inclement weather or unforeseen issues, dates and times are subject to change.
