Passengers are welcome to bring bikes and scooters on trains. Please enter through doors marked with a bicycle symbol and wait until all other passengers have loaded or unloaded.
A maximum of four bicycles are allowed per train car (with two in tie-down spaces and two standing with their riders by the doors). Bicycles exceeding 70” in length or 3.25” in tire width may not be brought onboard.
All passengers must follow the posted rules as well as any directions from the conductor. When trains are crowded, please park bikes in secure on-demand lockers and bike rooms available at every station using the BikeLink app. Access cards and real-time locker availability information are available at bikelink.org.
Cyclists may only enter through doors with a bicycle symbol. They must secure their bicycles while holding onto a secure pole and may need to move their bicycle so that other passengers may enter, exit, or move about the train. Leaning or securing a bicycle to other bicycles is not allowed.
Future configurations of Sounder railcars may include designated bicycle cars with different boarding policies, which would offer additional capacity.
