As we’ve shared over the past several months, Sound Transit’s staff and Board are working to solve a long-term affordability challenge projected over the next 20 years.
The “Enterprise Initiative” is our comprehensive, agencywide effort to solve for future funding challenges.
A critical next step forward in this work will be updating the ST3 System Plan during Q2 of this year.
To help inform Board decision-making, we shared an online survey this spring to gather input and learn more about public priorities. Board members will consider this feedback as they explore trade-offs and opportunities and grapple with tough decisions about how to maximize the benefits of ST3 within available resources.
The Enterprise Initiative survey received more than 16,000 responses between March 30 and May 1, underscoring just how passionate Central Puget Sound residents are about future transit expansion.
Thank you to all who shared their perspectives. We deeply appreciate your engagement, and your feedback is invaluable!
While the survey is now closed, you can continue to provide feedback by emailing EnterpriseInitiative@SoundTransit.org, or share your input directly with Board members.
Staff will combine survey and email feedback with other input received through in-person events into a comprehensive engagement report prior to the May 28 Sound Transit Board meeting.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us, and stay tuned to The Platform blog and Sound Transit’s social media channels for updates on how Enterprise Initiative work is advancing.
