Elected officials make recommendations for Level 3
On October 5, the Elected Leadership Group (ELG) made recommendations on which alternatives, or route and station options, will move forward to Level 3 screening. How’d they get there? After review and much deliberation of the Level 2 alternatives, evaluation results, public feedback and Stakeholder Advisory Group recommendations.

What’s next? The project team starts work on refining the remaining options for Level 3 work. Up until this point, options have been developed and evaluated in four segments: Ballard, Downtown, Chinatown-International District/SODO and West Seattle. Now these segment options will be connected into “end-to-end” alternatives for more analysis. Later in October, the Sound Transit Board is scheduled to be briefed on the Elected Leadership Group’s recommendations.

So long, summer. Thx for the memories!
On Saturday, October 6, our project team capped off an exciting summer of fair and festival outreach with an appearance at the Magnolia Farmers Market. While we’re sad to see this sunny season come to a close, we’re thankful to all those who visited our booth to learn more about the project and chat with a team member. We connected with over 3,900 people across 12 different communities, sharing important project updates and gaining your valuable community insights along the way.
