On ramp from eastbound SR 104 to northbound I-5 and off-ramp to westbound SR 104 to close

Publish Date

As early as Monday, April 6, Sound Transit's contractor will begin night work on the ramp from eastbound State Route 104 to the northbound ramp of Interstate 5. Both the on and off ramps will be closed while this work is being done. Detours will be provided (see map). The contractor has obtained a Temporary Noise Variance to complete this work. This work is weather-dependent and may need to be rescheduled. 

What

Preparatory work for a temporary signal. Work will include trenching, boring, electrical work, demolition of asphalt and concrete, earthwork, and trucking concrete and asphalt placement.  

When

Monday, April 6, through Friday, April 17. Monday – Friday 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. This work will be done at night only.

Where

  • Eastbound SR 104 on ramp to northbound I-5 ramp.
  • I-5 northbound to westbound SR 104.
  • SR 104 westbound onto ramp to I-5 northbound.
  • I-5 northbound to eastbound SR 104.

  • Plan ahead, leave early and allow extra time to reach your destination.
