574 - Lakewood – Federal Way

ST Express 574 will be changing Aug. 30 at 2 a.m.

Sound Transit’s fall service change will begin on Saturday, Aug. 29. at 2 a.m. ST Express 574 will serve Federal Way Downtown Station instead of Sea-Tac Airport starting Sunday, Aug. 30. Connection with Link 1 Line. Service increases to every 15 minutes.

Beginning Aug. 30, route 574 will no longer stop at Lakewood Transit Center. Route 574 will instead stop at Lakewood Station, located at 11424 Pacific Hwy SW, Lakewood, WA 98499.  

Route 574 riders can park at Lakewood Station or the SR 512 Park & Ride. Riders can take Pierce Transit routes 3 or 4 from the Lakewood Transit Center to the SR 512 Park & Ride.   

Late night and early morning riders can use route 597 for connection to SeaTac / Airport Station at International Boulevard & 176th St.

The parking lot closure described below has been postponed.

SR 512 P&R:
Parking Lot will be closed for maintenance August 31 – September 3, 2026. All vehicles must be moved out by Sunday evening, August 30.

Bus services will still operate out of this location during the parking closure.
