Due to Pinehurst Station Construction being paused until Monday, Oct. 6, 1 Line trains will not be sharing one track at Shoreline South/148th Station on Thursday, Oct. 2 and Friday, Oct. 3. Trains will arrive at stations every 12 minutes starting at 7 pm.

Oct. 2-3: All platforms open - 7 p.m. to start of service, 12-min headways

Starting on September 11 through November 14, the south parking lot at Lynnwood Transit Center will be closed to vehicles. This is to allow for construction of a new trash enclosure.

Special event service on N Line and S Line from 9:51 a.m. through 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 5 for the Seahawks game. T Line will provide extra morning service connecting riders to S Line trains.
In effect: Oct. 5, 9:50 a.m. - 7:45 p.m.

-S Line trains will depart Lakewood at 9:51 a.m. & 10:11 a.m. and depart King Street Sta 10 minutes (or when full) and 45 minutes after the game ends.
-N Line train will depart Everett at 10:45 a.m. and depart King Street Sta 45 minutes after the game ends.
Want to spread out a bit on your Sounder S Line ride to the game? Head for the northernmost train cars—they're usually a lot less crowded! For even more breathing room, try catching the second S Line train in and out of Seattle; it's generally a bit roomier than the first one. Enjoy the extra space!
T Line will provide additional morning service to help riders connect to the S Line for the game. Trains from St. Joseph Station (depart 9:32 a.m. and 9:52 a.m.) to Tacoma Dome Station.

Elevator outage at Capitol Hill Station due to unscheduled outage. The elevator at the E Denny Way exit serving the street, South Mezzanine, and platform is out of service. See below for alternate route information.

2. Enter the station at the corner of E John St and Broadway Ave E.
3. Take the street level elevator down to the North Mezzanine for elevator access to the platform.

1. Take the pedestrian walkway toward the west exit.
2. Take elevator up to the street.
3. Turn left on Broadway Ave E.
4. Enter the station at the corner of E John St and Broadway Ave E.
5. Take the street level elevator down to the North Mezzanine for.
To exit the station from the platform:
1. Go to the opposite end of the platform toward the E John St exit.
2. Take the platform elevator to the North Mezzanine.

SeaTac Airport Station 2nd pedestrian bridge elevator construction begins January 8, 2025.
In effect: Jan. 8, 3:00 a.m.

During times where pedestrian walkways are blocked and elevator access is unavailable, passengers may catch the Rapid Ride A Line bus from SeaTac Airport Station to Tukwila International Boulevard Station in order to use the 1 Line.
The pedestrian bridge from the station to the airport will be unaffected and available throughout the duration of this project.
Beginning February 10, 2025 half of the passenger pick up/drop off area will be closed, as will some parts of the plaza near the stairs and existing elevator as equipment begins to come in for construction of the new elevator.
Additional information about changes in elevator accessibility will be provided as it comes available.

University of Washington Station - Elevator 2 unavailable until further notice due to a mechanical issue.

During recent repairs, it was identified that a component in the elevator was damaged. The damaged component is not available for purchase separately, and a completely new machine will need to be ordered. These new machines have a significant lead time and the elevator will be out of service until repairs are complete.

To ride the 1 Line:
1. Take the elevator located directly across from the out of service unit down to the platform.
To exit the station:
1. Take the nearby elevator located directly across from the out of service unit up to the street or pedestrian bridge to Montlake Blvd NE.
