  • Conduct conceptual design for selected alignment
  • Identify and gather public comments regarding station locations and site options for maintenance facility expansion
  • Determine type of environmental review documentation needed
  • Conduct environmental review and share results with public and agencies
  • Submit application for FTA New Starts/Small Starts grant funding
  • Conduct community and agency engagement

  • Public open house and online survey to solicit feedback on 60% track and platform design and station naming
  • Finalize station and track design
  • Select local artist, Kenji Hamai Stoll, to design station art
  • Select permanent station names

  • Online and in-person open house in November 2017 to celebrate Final Design and kick-off pre-construction

  • Project update open houses
  • Outreach to local businesses and residents
  • Award light rail vehicle contract and construction contractor
